Always read the label and follow the directions for use.

DAO (diamine oxidase) is the enzyme your gut uses to break down histamine from food and drink. Intoleran's DAO Plus provides the DAO enzyme plus two supporting ingredients, taken just before the meal or drink.

What's inside (per capsule)

  • DAO enzyme (from pork kidney extract)
  • Quercetin 38mg
  • Vitamin C 20mg

How to use

Take 1 capsule just before a histamine-containing meal or drink. Don't take more than 3 capsules a day.

Who is it for?

Intoleran designed DAO Plus for people who are low in the DAO enzyme. It doesn't change the underlying cause of an intolerance. If you think you react to histamine in foods such as wine, aged cheese or cured meats, talk to your GP or a dietitian first to work out what's going on.

Good to know

  • 50 capsules
  • The DAO is from an animal source (pork), so it isn't suitable for vegetarians or vegans, or for anyone avoiding pork

    DAO Plus tablets

I have been using these Dao Plus tablets for nearly 12 months, using them for my problem with Histamine intolerance, with very good effect.

I take them with me when away from home also, as I don't always have control over the food I am given.

    My symptoms have improved markedly.
