As a dietary supplement for general health take 600 mg with your favourite beverage between meals.

NAC is lsafe for adults However, very high amounts may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and constipation in excessive amounts. People with bleeding disorders or taking blood thinning medications should not take NAC, as it may slow blood clotting. NAC has an unpleasant smell that makes it hard to consume. In Australia NAC is not available in tablet form and is only available as a powder supplement due to government requirements.

As a dietary supplement for general health take 1000mg with coconut water or juice between meals.



Tips for absorption of NAC: NAC is most effective when taken on an empty stomach, with a small amount of Vitamin C powder. Vit C enhances the conversion of NAC to Glutathione. Take NAC on an empty stomach and away from other amino acids.
As the Acetyl portion of the amino acid is quite irritating to the teeth, taking it through a straw is advised, additionally making it more palatable.
